    Weird flashing black background behind avatars in my windows 10 Xbox one app


    I have a weird flashing black background behind avatars in my windows 10 Xbox one app:

    Before: its the normal chosen color, then it starts flashing uncontrollably,

    After: Its black and it goes back and forth between the chosen profile color.

    How can i stop it? anyone else get this problem?

    I have two screens but its never acted up until now, also my computer is a beast so it obviously isn't me not meeting the requirements.

    I have the latest version (I believe): 24.24.200004.000000

    Weird Windows 10 xbox app bug? Need Help.

    I have a weird flashing black background behind avatars in my windows 10 Xbox one app:

    After: Its black and it goes back and forth between the chosen profile color.

    I don't know whats causing it. Does anybody else have this problem?

    it really annoys me as its very distracting and looks awful, I have a beast PC very well above the recommended specs, so i cant be that. I also have the latest publicly released version of windows 10 along with the newest Xbox app version (24.24.20004.00000).

    What could be my problem?

    Xbox Avatars Getting Wheelchairs!

    Thank goodness Avatars where a DAY ONE Xbox Live Feature implemented on Xbox 1 (unlike voice messages, change dash background, etc). So I don't see Microsoft getting rid of Avatars anytime soon even though some may disagree and think they're a waste of time
    or too grown up to have them.

    starting happening around a month ago, and ive tried re downloading, restarting pc, signing in and out, etc..., and it still doesn't work

    How to Delete my Avatar on Xbox Avatar Editor

    If you are on the Xbox One, all you can do is create a new avatar, by launching the app, select settings, and create a new avatar.

    If you are on the Xbox 360, then the best way is to launch the Xbox Original Avatar app on Windows 10, and select settings and create a new avatar.
