Weird Disk bug

    Weird Disk bug


    Hello XBOX Community,

    I got a weird bug detecting my Halo 5 Disk. I did not use my XBOX for a very long time and I was now trying to play Halo 5 again. When inserting my Disk it automatically tries to start Halo but then says that i have to insert the Disk or buy the license.
    The Disk is fine, it looks completely new and my only other game ROME is working, too.

    Dont see any reason why it should not work.

    Hey there,

    Have you had a chance to look at our
    Xbox One Disc Troubleshooter    ? If not, run through each of those steps first to determine what the issue could be. If the issue persists, and other Xbox One discs continue to work, your disc may need to be replaced.

    You may not have to try them all. Just work your way down the list until you find the one that works for you.

    1. Restart your console
    2. Update your console
    3. Reset your console
    4. Reinstall your game
