    Weird disconnect problem with my controller/xbox


    I'm getting this problem where my xbox suddenly stops taking any input from my controller, and basically repeats the input I was currently doing. So if it happens while im holding RT to shoot in a game, the game will keep firing but I can't do anything.
    The controller stays connected enough that I can still hear game sound. The only way to fix it is to hard restart the console. I've tried plugging the controller in and it didn't change anything. Any solutions for a problem like this?

    Currently testing with other games, last time it happened it took over an hour to happen so i'm giving it awhile before I can say for certain if its one game or not.

    That seems more a console related issue. Does this happens with every title or is it just a game? Is that a digital or disc based game?

    After a bit of testing it seems this problem only occurs on SMITE, a digital download. I haven't seen anyone else on smite reddit/forums that has a similar problem.
