Weekly Activity Report

I recently received my son’s weekly report and the timings were very odd. It says his screen time was approx 109 hours in total yet his apps and games were approx 50 hours. Now I know for a fact that its not possible for him to be on it that long and the
Xbox is never left on (plug socket gets switched off). Laptop isnt Windows 10 either so that cant be it unless it also adds Windows 8 use. Does anybody have any ideas?

On Xbox One, activity is reported while your child is signed in on the console, even if others are using the device.

Could it be he has given another person access to his account and they are using it. Are there any games or apps showing that he wouldn't normally play ?

Ha ha. I would normally agree but he’s 9 and the xbox isnt in his bedroom so its impossible for him to be on it for 19 hours.

(Im also aware he shouldnt be playing some games at 9 😉)

Hi. Thank you for your reply.

I decided to contact Microsoft Xbox Support this morning. They asked me to reset the Xbox and re-sign in etc.. as they say it could have been a problem regarding the settings. Ive done this, so I shall see how this goes.

Check the time zone settings, I've seen something similar when your account is set to one time zone and the Xbox thinks it's in another time zone.
