    Webcam C922 for Streaming


    Last year in early December I purchased a C922 Logitech webcam to pair with Xbox One X for streaming on Mixer. Everything was fine and I had no problems until the end of January 2020 after the system update.

    Every time I start Xbox One X, I have to disconnect the webcam and reconnect it because when starting streaming from console on Mixer, it seems that the webcam does not exist. I've been doing this for months and I'm afraid that by doing so every day, the
    USB port could be ruined. I invested the money I earned myself by buying both Xbox One X and webcam and it's a shame that there are no system updates that fix this bug.

    Does anyone have alternatives?

    Would you advise me a way to avoid disconnecting and reconnecting your webcam daily from the USB port?

    Alot of my friends that streams uses the Logitech C922. Its a great webcam and they have no issues with it.

    Yes a webcam will work with your console. Microsoft recommends Logitech C920 HD Pro or Logitech C922 HD Pro Stream. In the beginning I just used an regular webcam and it worked.

    I'm sorry to hear that. Have you used the webcam on your PC/computer and it works fine? Have you tried a different USB port on the Xbox (since there are 3 to try from)? If there is an internal issue with the C922 you might need to contact Logitech for a
    warranty replacement. If all the Xbox ports are working then most likely it's an issue with the webcam and not your console.
