We want 1 account set as Home Xbox in 2 consoles please

If you want to share games you will need to set the accounts as home consoles on each others consoles.

Account 1 will need to have Xbox 2 as its home account and vice versa.

This will enable games bought on account 1 to be used on Xbox2 and games on account 2 to be used on Xbox1

Right now here's how the HOME Console settings are designated.

Xbox #1

Acct #1 (@live.com) set to HOME console.

Xbox #2

Acct #2 (@gmail.com) is set to HOME console.

Should the HOME option be set for both accounts on the same Xbox?

So from what you have above -- have HOME doubled on Xbox #2?

you will need to set your son #2 account as home on son #1 xbox in order for it to work,

so the steps will be,

sign into son #1 console and cancel subscription, add son #2 account onto the same console, sign in onto son #2 account on son #1 console, go to settings, go into personalization and set it as home, sign out of son #2 account and back into son #1 account.

and that should be all

Assuming this only affects 2 people more can be bur there is a limit

Console 1 is your series x

Console 2 is xbox one x

Account 1 has gamepass

Accoumt 2 is roommate spouse or child etc since you didn't specify

Account 3-4 incase we are talking about household

Account 1 has gamepass.ultimate. Signs into. Console 2 and makes it your home console

you want to make a different console your home Xbox:

1. Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.
   
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalisation, and then select My home Xbox.
   

Account 1-4 can use console 2 and play games online or offline

Account 1 can use console 1 and use your games online only and has to be signed in online at all times to play

Account 2-4 cannot.use console 1 digital games since account 1 can only roam

You can change the home console at anytime upto 5 times a rolling year bit this isnt meant to be shared this way because someone wants to change consoles for one day

Account 1-4 can use disk games on whichever console. As long as you have the disk inside the drive

I would like to confirm what Brad just said above. account 1(which has live gold subscription) sets up xbox#1 as the home console. and account 2 is set up as the main account for xbox#2 but the home console is xbox#1. if account 1 is signed in on xbox
#2 and account 2 is signed in on xbox #1. will xbox #1 will be able to have access to live gold? I hope I explained my question well enough.
