We need NO MAN'S SKY on xbox, LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN

Hi there team Xbox and everyone,

So I have been geeking out about this game since I caught the first glimpse like a year ago.

I don't have a PC rig at home, because i'm not a PC gamer, mainly due to the fact that I am an imac/macbook user and I can't wrap my head around how backwards the whole windows interface/functions are. But that's beside the point.

I wanna play this game so bad, to the extent that I might have to get a PS4 just to play it (as it is cheaper than a PC rig) but I hold the same thought/reluctance towards the PlayStation system as I do towards the windows/PC system.

My point is, that I see many people thinking the same way, but without the reluctance towards other systems. Which would make it easier for them to chose to purchase a PS4. Just because the Indie game didn't meet the crazy standard Xbox has instated.

Due to the overwhelming popularity and hype of this game I would have assumed Xbox would do everything in it's power to make it happen on their console as soon as possible, even if Xbox users would have to wait a week or two for the release.

So I am putting it out there to the community. Let's all come together and make this happen!

Where is No Man's Sky for Xbox One?!

I am looking at all of the new content revolving around No Man's Sky and I need this game! Where and when is the Xbox One release of it?!

 

YES I agree entirely! The only thing stopping me from switching right now is that money's tight. Couple months, though and I'll start putting together a PC for myself. I'll probably renew LIVE only one more time and I'll tell everyone to steer clear of Xbox
because they seem to all have sticks up their butts.

I really don't mind paying $50 or so a year for LIVE but I'll switch to PC when I can simply because I don't think Steam has had nearly as many problems as Xbox or PS4. I've been looking at Steam users whose accounts for hacked and they say that their problems
were either keyloggers (they track your keystrokes) and that Steam support got it back for them in less than a few days. When my Xbox account got hacked it took Xbox support 2 weeks to unban it because my avatar ended up with gray skin. Like, I get y'all want
to keep out cheaters but that's a little ridiculous.

Point is, whoever put in that clause where Indie games have to come out on the same day or before Xbox (I think that's it) has a huge stick up their butt and it's preventing an amazing game from being released in Xbox. Y'all are turning your own users away
because you can't get over yourselves. You used to have that kind of power and influence but you don't anymore and nobody at Microsoft seems to understand that.

 

Get Elite Dangerous,it's pretty much the same thing.

Feedback i'm getting from friends is that No Mans Sky is great for a few hours then gets really boring.

I know a couple of people who have traded it in already.

 

I agree completely. Ever since the game was announced I've said to myself 'that's my game'. And since its release, I don't think I've ever wanted to play a game as much as I want to play this.

As for the change in platform, I would also agree. Infact, just last night I was looking up prices for second hand Playstation consoles, which seemed tempting as I haven't been happy with Xbox for quite some time now. Although, Sean Murray (the 'face' of
Hello Games) in a recent interview with Daily Star (UK press) didn't rule out the possibility of an Xbox release for the game as he said he wasn't 'actually allowed to say' about the possible release. Bear in mind there was a Sony Executive literally sitting
next to him at the time.

I'm not getting my hopes up personally due to the fact that Sony's name is on the intro screen for the game. And I could see Microsoft having some stupid dispute over that fact. With all that said, there is arguably an Xbox version on its way as it is,
due to the Xbox terms that state something along the lines of not allowing indie games to be released on the store until they are released on all other platforms.

This is all just what I have read personally, this is the internet so God knows how much of it is actually true. But I share your thoughts none the less.

 

I looked E and Star Citizen but NMS IS sooo much bigger. Not as big on physics but it looks like so much more fun

 

I've been reading that it's incredibly boring. I've also been reading from people that love these types of games that Elite Dangerous is much better.

 

^^ That's exactly what my friends are saying.

The novelty wears off after a few hours & you are just doing the same thing over & over again.

It was a game I wanted to play but after my mates comments & watching some streams I can't say i'm interested anymore.

 

Well before the legal team had a word with the developers to tie it up as a "for the moment Playstation 4 Exclusive" the developers had told people they developed it for both current gen consoles.

Maybe it will be a Scorpio launch title.

A Playstation 4 isn't a bad investment nowadays. You can pick up the system for a good price and then games are really cheap.

This goes both ways for anyone who's been playing only PS 4 games.

No better time to grab a ONE and play some really good games at very cheap prices.

 

Have you got any links to videos/articles confirming this? As somebody who's followed this game from announcement to launch I've never seen anything about Hello Games making this statement.

 

^^ I actually remember hearing him say it in an interview.

 

It was when they were first showing it for the first time at an E3 or some sort of games conference.

I can't remember which event but it was definately the first showing to an audience.

 

Yeah,it was definitely mentioned at E3 one year.

I remember that as well.

 

I'm thinking the vid you're all talking about is the post reveal interview with Sean Murray confirming it would be on multiple platforms, PS4 and PC. Not Xbox.
