We need an Xbox version of Share Play!!!

My wife just spoke to Microsoft who said sharing does not work with the base game. Not if we want to play the current expansion. We need to get separate full copies for each person who wants to play the current version of the game.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We need a little more information to ensure that we provide the correct solution. Are your children playing on an Xbox One or Xbox 360? Are you using the disc or digital version of the game? Does an error message
appear when one of them gets booted from the game?

If your children are using an Xbox One and the digital version of the game, you can share the game from one account to another by using the

home console feature. This allows a single account to share it's subscriptions, games and some content to all the other accounts on the console. The profile that is sharing it's content cannot share content on multiple devices. Since you are using three
different consoles, you will need to have the game purchased on two different accounts in order for all three of them to play. The support article we provided explains more about the home console feature. Be sure to let us know the results!

If you're playing on the Xbox One and your account is set as Home on the console your friend can share the membership and play online.

If you're playing the 360 version then your friend will need to have his own Gold membership.

Xbox One games cannot be played with Xbox 360 versions of the game as they are incompatible.

Yes we have two accounts. The problem seems to be both licenses. So the owned game and the xbox ultimate account are held by the one xbox account.

One of us via family sharing should be able to play the owned version of forza. The other should be able to play the xbox ultimate version via family sharing also.

doesnt matter which one is played by PC and which by xbox.

forza is owned and installed on both PC and Xbox.

both signed into accounts on PC and Xbox.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning if you can use the home console feature to share the license for an Xbox One disc. The

home console feature shares only games, subscriptions and some downloadable content. There is some content that developers do not allow to be shared. You would need to purchase another disc or the digital version of NBA2k20 in order to play it on both consoles.
