We live in Botswana and bought an xbox s. Can i buy games for the console with my credit card?

This means that you are not going to be able to purchase content from the Microsoft store or access online features in games.

I just Bought a 10$ gift card and found out i cannot buy xbox live gold with it unless i have a credit card

but i don`t have a credit card

We are physically in Botswana. But the card i use to pay is my Sout african bank account and both our accounts are set up in South africa. Will this still be a problem.

This is very frustrsting. Is there away to confirm the region our game passes were bought in?

it is because you can only purchase stuff from the marketplace like games, game add on content and media. you can ONLY buy live with a credit card or paypal or a store bought Live gold card. Since when you buy Live on a console you are buying a subscription
and you need a recurring payment on file to pay for the next installment.

I actually found the problem. Xbox game pass requires a credit card to buy from me. But I live in Iran, I just have access to the card and I can not afford to buy it. I hope Microsoft officials find
a solution for users who do not have access to a credit card so that I can use the console features of the game
