Ok. So I was partially right. We do have one a home device and one with the pass owner, so this why it has worked with the 2 consoles and we have had an issue since Christmas when we added the 3rd.

Another question then, if I may. Can I get a live gold subscription for the 3rd child or does it have to be ultimate game pass for him to play with friends online?

We had an active Gold subscription and my son tried the Game pass for a month and then cancelled it but now we don't have anything and we are only 5 months into our year of Gold. Why do we not have anything now?

By activating the Game Pass Ultimate subscription (the trial version) it converts your Gold subscription to Game Pass Ultimate completely (replaces) so when you cancel the Game Pass Ultimate service renewal, you are canceling the service completely. This
is something that the service detects and advises when activating the Game Pass Ultimate subscription trial.

home console on B. This will allow the child to play with you when you play on console A. This also answers the other questions. When you upgrade to Game pass Ultimate the gold gets converted to Ultimate time, which is included in game pass Ultimate. You
will still have access to all games with gold as you will still have Xbox live gold. Here is a

game pass ultimate faq for more information on that. The Ultimate included, xbox live gold, game pass for console, and game pass for PC. You will be able to access all this from console A on your profile.
