We have detected a signal..... But the picture never shows...

Hi, since day one I have been unable to get the pass through to work. When I set it up I'm told that a signal is detected and it could take up to 12 seconds for the picture to appear but it never does. Please help!

    :)

    No video at all

Same situation here. DirectV signal detected, Xone talking to both TV and Sat box, but no picture, both 720 &/or 1080p, no picture. On phone support over an hour.....waiting for a call back.

    Connecting Cable Box (UK)

I know that we have to wait until next year for the One Guide etc.. but I read we can still use the hdmi pass through, I have tried to set it up via my box but I get a blank screen at the bit when it says "We have detected a signal from your cable box" It
says to wait until a picture comes up but I don't get anything.

    Anyone help?

I am sorry to hear about the issue. To get a better idea of what is at play here, the following information is very useful.

    1. Make & Model of STB (cable/sat box)

    2. TV Provider

    3. Layout (example: STB HDMI Xbox One HDMI TV) (please note splitters and hubs).

    HDMI 2.0 are recommended.

    -Cheers

    Hi, thanks.

It is a sky plus hd box. The layout is as you suggest, no splitters or hubs. I'm not sure if my hdmi cable is 2.0 is that the problem?

Unplug Xbox ONE, use a different HDMI cable going from cable box to xbox.

  9. Neither solution here worked for me. I went out and bought the fastest HDMI cables. They support 60/120/240/480 and 600 refresh rates. Also says High Speed 10.2Gbps+ I also unplugged my xbox one and replugged it back in. When I go to the troubleshooting
it says "Looking for your tv picture..." After about 5 seconds it says it found a signal and says it will take up to 6 to 12 seconds for the tv picture to show up. However, in about 5 seconds it goes back to looking for a signal. It's really intermittent.
I wonder if this is a problem with my cable receiver. It's a motorola from comcast xfinity. All I have is HDMI cable from cable box to xbox one in and then HDMI cable from Xbox One out to tv HDMI1 slot. Really simple setup.
