We couldn't sign you int to Xbox Live (Game Pass PC)

So on the game pass PC app, I am able to download games fine but when I go to play them I get this error on my tower PC:

We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live

We can't sign you in to Xbox Live right now. Try again in a while. If that doesn't work, we have a few ideas that might help fix the problem.

Some games I can still get to play, but they will not save due to this. Funny thing, on my Laptop things run fine, my tower has stronger hardware however so I'd like to be able to play games there.

So far I have tried the Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} Windows powershell tip, I've deleted Cache and account folder from token broker, set time to automatic in windows 10. nothing seems to work.

Not sure if this is relevant, but my microsoft account that I log into my computer is DIFFERENT from my Xbox live account. Games give me the option of signing into the correct account (the xbox live account) but it never works and I get the above error.

Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Tried these steps, restarted my PC, and still have the same issue.

I do also have the Xbox companion app, it signs into my xbox live account just fine.

When I check xbox networking, I get "Teredo is unable to qualify. This could block you from playing multiplayer games" when I click fix it, it says my NAT type is Strict, but still can't get games to run.

It's okay to use a different account in the Microsoft Store app. I have 2 accounts and use one to play and the other is logged into the Microsoft Store app.

Do you have the Xbox and Xbox Companion app installed on your PC and the account you want to play is logged into both apps?

Also, follow these 2 steps and try again, please.

Windows key>settings>games>xbox network wait for the test to finish and then click on ''fix'' and test again.

Then press the Windows Button then type Services.

Right-click over the Services App from the list of results.

Then select Run as Administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper

Xbox Live Auth Manager,

Xbox Live Game Save,

Xbox Live Networking Service,

Gaming Services.

Do this with each of the services listed above.

Right-click over the service and select Properties.

Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic.

If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services.

Click Apply and OK to save changes.

Tried the in place upgrade, same problem from the video before. Tried signing in to my local account to see if that helped, it didn't and now I have a similar problem trying to sign in with my Microsoft account:

Still can't play 3rd party games, and now can't sign into my microsoft account from the local account.
