    As you can see from the above image, I can't install Flight Simulator on my

    D drive. The error is at the bottom of the image. When I click on the linked settings page I get this:

    After applying, I get this message.

    So I click 'Yes'.

    I get this error message. Could someone assist?

    Fixed it. I remamed WindowsApps to WindowsApps.old, I had to restart Task manager to do so, then I restarted my PC and changed it without the issue.

    Then I couldn't select the new 'WindowsApps' folder generated to the Xbox install location. I made a new one called 'XboxGames' and finally...

    I’ve got about 700gb of important files on this drive, so will formatting not remove / damage them all?
