    We can't save more data for this game or app


    I keep getting "your Xbox is out of space for saved data. To make room, select a game or app from My games & apps, press Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game and add-ons (0x80830003)" error when trying to save on multiple games on my console. Saving seems to work on Rocket Leage just fine though. Some games start and play but cannot save and some won't start at all and give the above-mentioned message. I have read some other older post about this but have been able to make any of those suggestions work. I have an Xbox Series X.

    I have tried:

    Saving in multiple games. Was able to save Minecraft and load fortnight but unable to load monster hunter or save citites: skyline remastered all of which are installed locally.

    Soft reset

    Hard reset

    Transferring games to an external hard drive, to make space.

    Deleting games to make space.

    Leaving my network and reconnecting.

    May I know if you tried deleting some cloud data from another games to see if that makes the trick?

    Also, is this happening with all your games?

    Or only with the ones you described ?

    I have enough space on my internal and external totalling 1.6tb.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Xbox. I understand that you are receiving 0x80830003 as the error message and you've tried some troubleshooting steps but none of them worked.

    Does this happen to all of your games or just to certain titles? Do you have enough space on both of your internal and external storage? When you performed a factory reset, did you select the "Reset and keep my games and apps" option?

    I am sorry to hear that.

    Please, clear the local saved games, power cycle the console and open the game again.

    To do it, follow these steps:

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage.

    On the Manage storage devices screen, select: Clear local saved games. This deletes games saved to your hard drive, but they'll still be saved to the cloud.

    Then, turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 60 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    Plug the console power cable back in.

    Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    series x says "We can't save more data for this game or app".

    Hi You will have run out of storage space on your console. You have a few options, you can either Delete some games/save data from your console to make room, or install additional storage space. The easiest wawy would be to remove some games/save data from the existing storage.
    I have 500gb left of space on my console itself and I have an external storage with almost 2tb of storage left so that it’s full is not the case here
