    Starting two days ago I was messaging a friend and I got off the app and when I got back on it to check the message I got it said on my Xbox that we can't get your messages and to check back later which it would show my conversations but if I was to click on it it'll have a great circle spinning. Then I checked the Xbox app for the messages and it said "you seem stranded" and it won't load my messages at all but I still get the notifications from the people I'm messaging but I can't see them. I'm very confused and I don't know what to do. I have power cycled my Xbox multiple times and I have cleared my alternate Mac address, also I have gone offline from the Internet and got back on the same Internet any new ideas are welcome and if someone has a video that can help step by step that'll be wonderful

    Hello DBPL,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    We understand you are having issues with your Xbox Messages. This error message usually indicates that there is a problem with the Xbox Live service. Microsoft is aware of this issue and is working to resolve it as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check the Xbox Live service status page on this link Xbox Status | Xbox Support to see if there are any known issues with the messaging service.



    2. Try signing out of your Xbox Live account and then signing back in.



    3. Clear the cache on your Xbox One console by holding down the power button for 10 seconds until it turns off, then unplug the power cord for 30 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on.

    4. Reset your Xbox Console: Go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info and choose Reset console. Select Reset and keep my games & apps. This resets the Xbox operating system and deletes any corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.
