  1. Way too many updates

I totally agree. I don't play video games often. And when I do its usually about an hour or two before I go to bed.

That said, the last 3 attempts to play Sky rim or Hit man xbox updates both. So I can't play either one. Had I known it would be such a pain in the Arsenal to play a game I would have bought a completely different game system or set up gaming capabilities
on my pc. This is not only ridiculous, I feel robbed!

  2. If you’re talking about the game updates I agree. I used to be on a 100MB connection and my console would usually grab update at night. Now that I’m on DSL I see the other side. There’s far too many updates that are necessary (especially day 1 patches) where
you can’t even skip them and just play the game. Especially frustrating on mostly single player games with multiplayer tacked on. I just want to play the campaign but have to sit and wait for a multiplayer update.

If you keep your console in Instant On mode the updates will go automatically overnight or at times you are not on. I haven't seen an update in ages.

Also if you are in the Insider Program updates are pretty frequent but you can always opt out of the program.

What are you talking about (the updates normally never take long). 27 gigs for an game update after a 800 mb console update is ridiculously long! That and the fact that everything has to be online multiplayer instead of couch coop has killed the gaming
experience. I end up frustrated instead of playing. I think I have become too old to play anymore. Whenever I finally have a bit of time to play, I can't! Going to sell my consoles and games.

Sorry to hear about that! Unfortunately that is a step we all must go through for full functionality of the games and console experience! Fortunately, however, the updates normally never take long to be applied. See you online!

You're and Xbox Insider, right? If so it's because of that you're having so many updates.

I rather updates than a shorter console cycle which makes me want to buy the new shiny.
