[Watch Dogs] Problem with update, won't play

I just tried to play watch dogs, but it keeps telling me i need to update, and that something went wrong with the update. I tried power cycling, that didn't work.I also know it's not a network problem. The weird thing is that sometimes i am able to see the
intro screen and hear the audio before the update screen comes on. And it's only for watch dogs, my other games still work.

Is this issue common?

Installed watch dogs 2, then I start the game comes up with needs a update an it won't don't it

I've installed watch dogs 2 onto my xbox one, when I try to play it says watch dogs 2 needs update click okay then it says There was a problem with update. I've entered the error code into the help and it says the error code is linked to update errors on
xbox 360. Anyone know why? thanks

 

Yep same thing is happening to me.

 

Try clearing your Xbox One's cache and try the download again, may help your issue:

1. Power down your console

2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the console.

3. Wait for about 2 minutes

4. Plug the power cable into the back of the console

5.Wait for the power brick to go from a white light to an orange light

6. Turn the power on.

 

Seems like tons of people are experiencing this problem. I'm sure Ubisoft's servers are trying to keep up with all the people trying to download it. I'd suggest to keep trying.

 

Why should I keep wasting my time for Someone else fault? Why is not possibile to cancel/unistall an update instead of keeping the system off 5 minute than loosing tons of time reinstalling a thing I already installed once? What this system is missing some
BASIC features that even a 5y old boy wouldn't deliver a product with out them?
