Was sent a Xbox Gift card and Now I cannot use it.

So, January of this month I was sent a $2 dollar Xbox Gift Card By Xbox, Im not sure why but I went to go Redeem it and I was not able to. Yesterday 8/14/18 I contacted Walter S and he told me to contact Microsoft and Jenny from
Microsoft Rewards customer service told me to Contact Xbox once again and I spoke with Red today. He then had me upload multiple photos for proof and then he told me to post this here. I was speaking with him for about an hour or so and then I spoke with Walter
for about an hour as well. At this point its starting to irritate me. Ive always presumed you guys were top notch never heard a single bad thing about you guys, Ive been with you sense the 360 and now I have a Xbox One S and Was really hoping to use the Gift
Card and all this trouble I went through just to get to this point really irritates me. Since this has stressed me out it would really be appreciated if I could get something from it.

Gift Card from different country

Hello all,

just bought a gift Card via de-DE (Germany) shop. Now I am located in Swiss and I cannot use that Gift Card: Error message is "...wrong Country..."

Anyone knows what to do?

Hi, Use a debit/credit card or PayPal or buy a Live card, as you cannot you a gift card to purchase Xbox Live Gold.

You can use your $15 gift card to purchase games, map packs, music, movies and TV shows

hmm that is very unusual have you tried calling Xbox support?! Especially if you’ve given proof, so not sure why they told you to post here when it could’ve been helped over the phone.

You would have to contact support again about any type of compensation. We would not be able to provide that via the forums (we're just fellow gamers).

Generally promotions like that have an expiration date for when they can be used.

I was told that in 48 or so Hours I would have a Xbox Person Respond. And the Expiration Date was March 31 of 2019

If you have used a card that adds funds to your account if you cannot get this transferred to the correct account you may be able to gift content to the correct account and a 25 digit redeem code will be sent for the gifted content.
