Was I supposed to be able to play early? FFX pre order

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but was I supposed to be able to play a day early if I pre ordered FFX months ago? Was I supposed to get anything out of the pre order at all? Maybe I should have just bought it tomorrow instead.

No theres no early release. It will be availible to play tomorrow for pre orders and general release.

This pre-order didn't have any bonuses. It gave you the ability to pre-download though. Have fun playing the game when it comes out.

unless specific advantages were specified when pre-ordering the game, you will just be able to load it earlier so to be ready to immediately play it on the launch day.

Sometimes pre-orders are associated with discounts, early access, special weapons, armours, etc. but that depends on the game studio.

The preorder doesn't let you play early, but it let's you pre load the game so it is downloaded ready to start at release time.
