warzone: checking for updates, A required network service has failed

Yesterday around 2 while playing the game I was kicked and the game started a checking for updates loop. It checks for updates then a error comes up saying a required network service has failed. I have tried reseting the modem, unplugging the console for over 10 minutes multiple times & removing the reserve storage. I found a comment about connecting to hotspot and I did that and it does work, when I plug my network back in it goes back to the checking for updates loop. how do I find out the problem with my network?

I can do everything else online expect play this game. I can hook it to a hotspot and it will play. Ive tried other ports in the router, I've tried wifi (from same router). Ive updated firmware. Ive rebooted multiple times. Ive changed the DNS, I've deleted reserve memory. Unplugged console for 10 minutes while leaving router off.

Its like its something in the communication from my xbox to the xbox server about this game. Im at a loss and could use help. Thanks

COD message says checking for updates rhen get the Error...a requirex network service has failed....all networks show working fine...please help!!

...and just now, this happened and it got stuck in a loop saying "Checking For Update" then "A required network service has failed. Status: GOLDFLAKE" then back again... over and over... you get the idea....

Yet my XBox settings said there was no issue with any services or my network. I restarted the game and no issues, other than my OP.

As you said the game is free and you do not need to buy a subscription to Xbox Live.

I don't know if Microsoft is playing smart or they want to avoid too many people accessing warzone servers at the moment that the game is fresh.

We have to wait but this sucks.
