    So, i recently got a service rapair of a xbox elite series 2, it came in and i checked serial number to find it did not change but the colour it was written it did meaning the unit was replaced, additionally the term of the warrenty was not changed, are
    microsft allowed to replace an entire unit to only then paste the original series number to avoid having to renew the warrenty term for 2 years? (the unit had multiple issues which would not be solved bysimply replacing the outer shell of the unit.)

    Sometimes the repair can also be a different refurbished xbox. I would take this up with the support team from the repair team.
