Warranty policies.

What are Microsoft's policies regarding hardware failures? I have a 1TB Xbox One that has been lightly used for 4 months? I don't know where to turn, I bought it from Amazon and they have like a week's warranty unless you buy a limited warranty. I've had
years of good luck with all of my electronics so I foolishly ignored paying a bit extra for some safety. Any thoughts, remedies, whatever. I'm having the flicker and fail problem.

My Xbox One S review so far.

It is called a return policy. You shouldn't have to spend a dime. Return it and get a new one for free. Even if you bought the system from a mom and pop shop in the middle of the Rocky Mountains, the system has a 1 year warranty so you can still return it for free and get one back for free. Free. Free.

My X1S 2TB version has worked flawlessly by the way as has the majority of people's.Click to expand...

A warranty is not the same as a return policy. Most return policies are only 14-30 days. After that, you have to go through the painful process of sending it off to MS.

Depends on state, some stores will say 30 days max, but your state may require stores allow up to 90 days. Some allow 60 days, others allow 30.

State to state changes return, but i think he's talking about the warranty itself where he can return it for a year to xbox.

But yeah, i never buy from a store that has it marked as 15 days for electronics they can get fucked.

Bit of a nasty crack that one!, Your only option is really to buy a new copy. Depending on how long you have had the game, then you might be able to get a replacement from EA Games. More info here on their warranty policy. If in UK:

In the US, Accessories have a 90 day warranty. In the EU, I do believe the warranty policy is 2 years. If you're in the former, the repair will not be included under warranty, but in the EU it should be covered under the accessories policy.
