    Warranty date changed to expired during repair


    I sent my series x in for repair when the warranty expiry was April 2023. Now that it's on it's way back to me, the warranty date has changed and expired 10/01/23.

    Anyone know why this would have changed? The console is less than a year old and has never been tampered with so the warranty can't have been voided.

    might be best to contact Xbox Support for this question or issue. My assumption is that the warranty should remain, but since things like warranty and warranty length is different per country region, it's difficult to say. So that's why it's best to contact Xbox Support via

    Warranty date on the website cant be changed.

    If you need a repair with a valid warranty on a proof of purchase (if warranty expired on the website), you just need to contact an agent ( chat or call > https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us )
    , he will asked you to put a copy of the bill in the package.

    Yes I agree. I have contacted them. They would escalate the case in the hope they will help me as my warranty has expired by 1,5 month. Which is really close to the expiration date so I hope they'll grant me a free repair/replacement.

    Again, as he stated, the warranty had expired. He was unable to call during the warranty period.
