If I may ask, what is the exact warning or error that you're getting on your Xbox App notification in that way we can check what will be the necessary steps to get it fixed.

Hmm this sounds strange. Maybe it is a good idea to call or email to the official xbox support and warn them about the problem you encountered. It may come frome the IE app or may be even from the netflix app.

I'm having the same problem with American Horror Story on my Surface RT. Purchased season pass, new episode aired 2 days ago but isn't shown at all in the video app's episode list. If I go to the episode list on the website though, the new episode is available
for purchase even though the page warns me that I've already purchased a season pass. No option to stream is shown on the website even though it knows I have the SP. And on the Surface there's no option I can find to refresh my purchase history in the video
app.
