    Hi everybody,

    Just a warning, Microsoft is having a SALE on backwards compatible games.

    DO NOT TRY PUT MONEY ON YOUR ACCOUNT TO TRY TO BUY THEM.

    You won't be able to use your Microsoft account to buy these games.

    I just bought a MS giftcard for 20 euro's to buy BO2 for my Xbox One.

    Once I got to the payment screen, it says you cannot use your account and asks you to add a creditcard.

    There is a big f*ing banner on the MIcrosoft store that says SUPER SALE, and there is not a single warning you won't be able to buy this through your account.

    This is false advertisement, thanks Microsoft for your misleading advertisement.

    So what should i do? buy a xbox 360 used to just play this game because its still not backwards compatible?

    However it said when I try and buy a backward compatible game that it does not accept Microsoft points how ever I can buy other normal games

    You never could use currency for bc titles

    It's their store their rules.and yes this has been since bc started I donno where you been

    Only way to use currency is to use a Xbox 360 for bc titles onky

    I bought a Xbox Gift Card and for some reason my Xbox One isn't letting me choose my Microsoft Store Account to buy games

    Are you trying to buy One games or backwards compatible games? The Microsoft account balance cannot be used to purchase backwards compatible content on the One.

    I am trying to purchase a backwards compatible game. I do not own a 360. I have bought games in the past regular and backwards compatible and have not had this problem.

    Is there any other way to buy this game. It is an actual Xbox game "Splinter Cell".
