Wanting to unenroll from Omega insider but don’t want to lose any old clips, settings, etc.

If you're an Xbox Insider then you will get more updates as compared to others. Even as an insider there are 4 different rings - alpha, beta, delta and omega. Being in alpha ring will result in a lot of updates, and number of updates goes down as you reduce
your level.

If you do not want frequent updates you can unenroll from the program.

As previously advised, the version, 18363.7196.191016-1200, is an Omega Insider build; refer to Insider Hub >Manage Devices; so therefore a OSU (Offline System Update) cannot be used unless the console is first unenrolled from the Insider preview program.

Unenroll old or unused devices from the Xbox Insider Program

• Sign in on any Xbox One console or Windows 10 PC with your Microsoft account registered in the Xbox Insider Program.
• Launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
• In the Xbox Insider Hub, navigate to Settings > Manage devices.
• Select the console (s) or device (s) you wish to remove from the Xbox Insider Program, then select Done.

If you are part of the Insiders preview program, consider going to a ring which has less frequent updates, like Delta or Omega.

Alternatively you can unenroll from the program, so you only get GA (General Availability) updates when they are released.
