    I posted this on reddit, within the xbox section haven't got a proper reply, since this is this is like proper page for help, I have been searching this issue and found no conclusive answer, and would like some help to figure out if this is normal. The url i posted contains a video of the so called issue. What happens is when I plug in the mains and then quickly or near instantly press the power button the series x does not respond. But if i wait like 10 seconds then press the power button all is well, it works no issues. I don't understand everything else I have my tv, pc, other devices do not do this. In-fact soon as the mains is plugged in i press the button the device is on. Is this normal or a fault? I am still in warranty.

    Hello Wikus, as I understand it, you have two consoles and the Xbox One does not turn on and you want to pass the data from the HD to your Series X.

    If so, it's not advisable because you'll need to open Series X for that.

    If both consoles are yours, just put your account on your Series X and download the games as normal.

    Hi all thanks for help have tried blu Ray disc that works perfect. And thinking about it sometimes a normal dvd decides one day it wants to work and another it does not want to work not sure about that. I don't know how to tell if the game is a blu Ray or not I just know they are xbox one games compatability and one is even xbox one x series compatible to. And unfortunately I do not have another xbox to try. The other xbox in home is disc free.

    Thank you for your post. The Xbox Series X will allow for backward compatibility with Xbox One controllers, meaning an Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 will work as normal with the Series X.
