Want To Remove Classic Gamertag:

The problem might be with the game since you signed up as your original gamertag, you can probaly go to the game website and sign in and see if you can change your name.

Do what this says, and make sure you look deeply into this so you don’t have to waste any money.

I thinks its possible, but unless xbox puts your gamertag you have to pay for the change.

I want to completely remove the Classic Gamertag (SalientLanius)

You can not remove a classic Gamertag since some older games rely on the old Gamertag system. Newer games and Xbox One system and Windows 10 will show your new Gamertag.
