Good Morning. I got an xbox one s 1tb all digital edition but I have physical games on dvd. I can't use them? Would I have to buy them again?

Hi, unfortunaltely you can't use your dvd games on the xbox one s all digital, if you want to play them you need to buy again a digital copy of them... there were some rumor about an official process of convertion from phisics to digital copy to be applied
by Microsoft, but as of now there is no way to do it, maybe they will start a program in the future but for now you can't use them.

I was looking forward to the new xbox one digital edition ,and as its digital download only i was hoping for a bigger hard drive than the one s 1tb

If I hadn't a One S already, I would go for that All Digital Edition for sure, I have been buying only digital games lately.

I agree that more space would have been better since 1TB is hardly enough when running the Game Pass for example and not focusing on a single game. External HDD are always an option, but with an all digital console I'd like to avoid other stuff.

Anyway, if they confirm an all digital version also for next gen, that will be my choice for sure to upgrade my S.
