Want original acc back but have them attached to same email

Accounts that have not been accessed in a long time can get shut down permanently. Unfortunately for you, the fact that you haven't signed in to that account in 5 years may mean that it has been closed and is forever gone.

Technology changes fast and I could be wrong. But as far as I know you can't possibly have two account with the same email. Is it possible that one was a typo? or @somewhereelse? Try to do the forgot email option logging into the old one perhaps. (just keep in mind, "forgot email" may raise more security questions with microsoft) it may be best to call them first.

That said, this one time I accidently typoed my email making my xbl and was then able to create the email and eventually access the account. (got lucky)

Account recovery sucks, and takes forever, but may be an option as well if you call Microsoft, and have the Serial number of the last console the account logged into, (and some other info). And wait a few months...

I just remembered something. A long time ago on an xbox 360 far away. There was the Family Gold subscription for $100 a year. Is this what your refering to? Family accounts are kind of linked, they should have their own respective email specifically for their login credentials. Is that what you were referring to?

If so you will need to remember the email and password. And if it doesn't have any recovery options such as a current phone number its going to be a real pain. If xbox generated a family email for it, It will be the *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

Is that what's going on? If so your going to be trying to remember allot of old info. Good luck.. If it's not linked to a valid phone number, your probably out of luck, then again i never tried to recover an account linked to a family.

Try getting the login credential and logging on. If it's locked out you need to fill out a forum.

Each Xbox profile can only be attached to One Microsoft (MS) account ever.

You can have multiple aliases attached to One MS account.

By what it is sounding like you attached your original Xbox profile to one of your parents email addresses and are now wanting to attach that Xbox profile to your Email address.

I am assuming the original email address that your parents have is still in use and that is quite impressive to have the same email address for 20 years like that. If I had the same email address for 20 years I do not think I would want to get rid of it
either.

it looks like the original email attached to the account was deleted due in inactivity, is there any way to attach an email to that gamertag or is it just lost now due to not having an email attached, it would just be a shame to lose the account.
