    I want to have a game (gta 5) installed on my console without the knowledge of other kids in my home. Is there a way to hide installed game from the list of games? If not ,can't Microsoft develop an option to hide installed games?

    I don't think it's possible to hide it but certainly if the kids accounts are set up with parental controls in place then they might be able to see it but shouldn't be able to play it.

    Good answer, didn't think of an external HDD.

    If you do think of using an external HDD (as Obsessive Power suggested) it will need to be over 256 GB and USb 3.0 to be compatible with Xbox One.

    Hi,

    The only sure fire way would be to buy an external hard drive, install the game to this device and only plug it in when you want to play it. You could also use the external drive to install other games you don't want the children to have access to.

    This is the only way since it's not possible to hide games. But games installed to an external hard drive won't show if said external drive is not plugged in.
