    I was told to ask here. For the upcoming Zoo Tycoon for my gaming computer. I'd like to gift a friend a Microsoft Store game. She lives in Denmark, I live in California. Would a gift card work? Do I have any options? Euro gift card? Thank you!

    You would have to buy here a gift card in euro's since the gift cards are region locked.

    The only way to do this right now is to buy a digital game card and send that to your friend. Xbox is working a gift to a friend feature for the online store. It is currently in Alpha testing.

    Okay my friend in Denmark got the game and I didn't know she did so there goes that gift thought. What about From California to New York? I can buy a regular gift card? Any region locks? Thank you guys!

    Since California and New York are in the same country you would just buy a regular gift card from the US/

    The only way to do this right now is to buy a digital game card and send that to your friend. Xbox is working a gift to a friend feature for the online store. It is currently in Alpha testing.
