    Walmart Gold Card expired? Purchased this month


    I purchased a Walmart Gold Membership Card for $60. Typed it into my Redeem Code, got code is invalid. After several re-checks, the code was typed in right. Contacted Microsoft, they said it's an expired code. Now what do I do? Last year I had issues that
    my code wasn't activated, now this. I'm not giving another dime to this company until I find out why I keep getting dud codes, I'm throwing my money in the garbage for "free" games that are costing me wayyyyyy more than $60/year now. I want an answer. What
    can I do? I paid for the code. Walmart won't refund me, it's Microsoft's code. Otherwise I'm done wasting money, I'll just go on PlayStation or something.

    Payment and billing

    Walmart Gift Cards are not an acceptable form of Payment with Microsoft.

    If you are needing to purchase XBox Live Gold, Walmart sells Cards for that in store then you can redeem the code on the Xbox.

    If you are wanting to use it to purchase a game, then you can purchase an Xbox Gift card from Walmart and use the code on that to apply it to your account.

    You can purchase 5 years of Live Gold membership on 5 12 month cards and activate each one as each year expires. Or you can activate 3 12 month cards and have a total of 36 months of maximum subscription and then activate the 2 12 month cards.

    Yes you need to go to Walmart or target and get a live gold gift card with 1 month 3 months or the whole 12 months. Whatever length you want you buy. (They come in preset time increments.) And purchase that and go to the proper settings to add the back of the card numbers. And then you'll be able to connect with friends via game chat etc. Without live. Gold you won't get these options.
