Waiting for update, what race should I pick

Looks like I'm gonna be waiting for a minute so here's the deal: I pre-o'd the game off the hype and have no idea what to expect. Yeah I played skyrim and the one before it but I got some questions:

Does this game play the same as skyrim?

Do the different races do different things or can every race learn everything?

If not, what race shoots arrows?

Can you play in first person?

Can random human players frag you and jack your loot?

Which race should I be, I'm new to the elder scrolls so I don't have a clue what to pick, many thanks

Sort of but plays a little different also being 100% online

Each race has their own special bonuses etc. which you may want to look into to maximise your characters ability

Any race can shoot arrows, all you need is a bow. Wood Elf/Bosmer has archer and stealth bonuses but another good candidate would be the Khajiit. I prefer these races with the Nightblade class and perhaps a secondary weapon being dual wielding.

Yes, 1st person or 3rd person

Not yet but there is a system coming whereby other players will be able to take on law enforcing roles rather then it being solely policed by AIs. They should be able to kill you if you're wanted for stealing/killing etc.

There is also a PvP zone in which you will be playing with players from your faction against other players in the other 2 factions. So naturally then you will be killing each other but you cannot loot from this as far as i am aware.

Like yourself I'm coming into this game not really knowing the intricacies.

If you loved "Skyrim" don't be put off if the game doesn't "look as good" at the start.

Give yourself time to adjust to the different graphical styile.
