Waiting for party stabilization

Anyway to fix this? I'm stuck in orbit with this message on screen.

Wont stablize party

I think I am having the same issue. I signed in started destiny, did an update then everything went south. No party stabilization, can't connect to friends with party, fireteam, game freezes. After 5 restarts I just gave up. Dinklebox!

we couldnt get your last saved data.

Same thing for me and my friend.

for Unity, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, friend is having it with Sunset Overdrive

I can get into Destiny but it just has an eternal "Waiting for party stabilization" message on screen

Also says it can't display my friends list right now

Tried googling it and the last thread related to this was unanswered, with one mod telling everyone to make a new thread so they could make specifically tailored responses for each individuals problem.. without answering OP's question...

According to bungie.net you need to do a full shutdown if you get this error.

Press and hold power button for about 10 seconds until console shuts down.

When light on power brick is orange disconnect the power for a couple of minutes.

After a couple of minutes switch back on and try again.

I've mainly been using the Support Class ( can't even remember what the name of the gun is that I'm using lol ) .. I know I've unlocked a Shotgun for this class ( I never use Shotguns in games ) but the gun I've started with I'm struggling with BIG TIME.
Hopefully I unlock something a little better soon, I will look out for the QBS ^, thanks!

I recommend that you wait for the service to stabilize because it may be failing on PC servers

There are issues with Xbox Party without a doubt.

Microsoft is fully aware of this and is working on improving the party stability. With the update of Feb, the party app has improved a lot but is still showing issues.

But that does not mean that what EvilManiac is claiming cannot be true. On the contrary, if the NAT type on either network is set as strickt it can and will cause issues with connectivity as well.
