VUDU does not work - going on 4 weeks

I have been plagued by the VUDU authentication issue that I have read many responses on the internet. I have talked to VUDU support and I've chatted with xbox support with no resolve. VUDU checked my account, removed my gamertag and had me power cycle the
xbox one and my router. xbox support had me remove the app and reinstall then basically told me to wait until tomorrow. I've been working on this for weeks.

The message I'm getting is: "Sorry, VUDU is not currently available. Please try again or for more information, contact VUDU customer support at support.vudu.com."

Yes, this is the exact message that I've seen for close to 4 weeks. Amazon, HBOGo, encore play, Netflix, Starz Play and Showtime Anytime work great.

Seeing as VUDU is the only Ultraviolet client if I cannot get this to work I will have to return my xbox one and try a PS4. I've always been a Microsoft advocate but if I cannot get this to work I will have to begin looking at different technologies. So,
please help me get this going.

Vudu HDR and Dolbyvision not working

I have a 4k HDR Vizio P65 that works correctly showing HDR10 or Dolbyvision in my TV info when viewing Netflix and Amazon Ultra HD content.

The Vudu app does not display this correctly or is not supporting Dolbyvision or HDR on the info.

Using the Smartcast feature to watch Vudu on the P65 works fine. Shows the correct info.

Does the Vudu app on Xbox One S not support Dolbyvision? Does it need to be updated? If so, when can this be expected to work?

 

Vudu not working

When i try to sign into my vudu account it says "sorry, vudu is not currently available. Please try again later. for more information, contact Vudu customer support at support.vudu.com" i contacted them but no luck getting the issue fix. ive uninstall this
app 3 times and still nothing my internet connection is working just fine and i can sign into vudu on my other devices. please help this has been going on for about 2 weeks now.

 

I just found "Cinema Now" that will allow me to connect my Ultraviolet movies. But, it would be nice to get VUDU working so I could watch my Disney movies. Also, does cinema now have an app for xbox 360? I can put that on my other console... But Vudu does
work on my 360.

Sorry to hear about the Vudu issue! Do you happen to use multiple devices on your Vudu account? If so, try logging into your account on
Vudu's Website and try removing one of your devices that isn't the Xbox One. After you remove a device, try loading the app again on your Xbox One console and see if the issue persists!

I've done that multiple times. As of last night before I posted my initial post the Xbox one is the only thing on my VUDU account.

 

I see that you have tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Vudu app, but let's try it in this order.

• Uninstall Vudu.
• Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to clear the system cache.
• Remove the Xbox One from your Vudu account.
• Power on and reinstall Vudu and set up the device with your account.

If the steps above do not help, and all your other streaming apps continue work, I recommend contacting
Vudu Support again to try to get the issue sorted. I'm sorry for any frustration this may have caused, and I hope you get it up and running soon!
