VRR+120Hz mode makes controller unresponsive

Exact same issue. Only fix is to take batteries out of controller or I've started using my old Xbox controller which seems to work fine. To clarify, I have two Xbox series X controllers and both have this exact issue and work perfectly fine in any other game. Only seem to have issues in Vanguard

• My Xbox controller has connection issues after the last update. My Xbox controller has connection issues after the last update | Xbox Support follow the steps to roll back the current update on your controller and test to see if the problem persists with the games, you mentioned and VRR @ 120hrz.

that monitor supports 120hz and freesync, you don't need hdmi 2.1 for 1080p and 120hz with freesync at all.

you need hdmi 2.1 for 4k at 120hz with vrr.

I have that screen and its fine for most gaming uses.

that screen has console mode for 120hz, and works fine.

Does your monitor support both VRR and 120Hz on Xbox? I have read that only specfic monitors out there support both enabled. For awhile the VRR was only supported at 60Hz but there are some monitors now that will allow you to enable both VRR and 120Hz.
