Discus and support volume under Kinect and devices option for controller in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; help under settings, Kinect and devices then controller options it's not showing volume as being option. we have 2 machines and 1 machine doesn't show...     help under settings, Kinect and devices then controller options it's not showing volume as being option. we have 2 machines and 1 machine doesn't show it so cannot alter volume to allow conversations online with headphones

    Problems with headphones

    Can anyone help please. My son having problems with his headset on the Xbox one. For some reason the volume option under devices & accessories is greyed our. I have also tried plugging in the other controller and it is still the same. What am I doing wrong

    Could you send us photos of the audio settings on each console?

    Are any of the consoles or accounts associated with the Insider Preview program by chance?

    How is each console connected to a power source?

    Finally, does the same thing happen with multiple controllers and with headsets?

    Have you tried this mate

    1 Go to settings

    2 Kinect and devices

    3 controller

    4 other options

    5 volume

    6 at top of list is a button to turn mic on

    When you look under Device Control is any sound device identified, if not the volume buttons won't do anything.

    Hello,

    I'm a bit rusty when it comes to the Kinect, but these should be the settings you will want to adjust. Go into Settings > Devices & streaming > Kinect, make sure the box for "Use Kinect microphone for chat" is checked. Then under General > Volume & Audio
    output under Volume Options, make sure Party chat output is set to Speakers.

    Saída de volume e áudio, em Opções de volume, verifique se a saída de bate-papo de festa está definida como Alto-falantes.
