  1. Volume on my Series X very low, except the power up chime

    Hello,

My Xbox Series X is connected to an audio receiver which is plugged into my projector, and everything worked fine until some days ago. I noticed that the power up chime sounded loud and fine, but the max volume on the console itself is very low, and I don’t know how to fix it. I’ve tried to change Audio formats, from Dolby Atmos to Stereo, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone a solution for this problem?

    :)

Hi. My name is Brilliant and I am happy to assist you today.

Here is how you can try to troubleshoot your audio on your Xbox console:
Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output.
Select the Audio setup option under Advanced.
Highlight the audio setup option you wish to use and then press the A button to begin the audio test.

Visit the given link for more details: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardw...r controller to open,to begin the audio test.

I hope this resolves your query.

The chime is its own speaker inside the system. You should try the system on another sound system to validate whether ti's the hardware or the receiver

Why is my chime setting not there?

It should be in settings/general/volume & audio/additional options & power chime is on the far right.

    Thats on a series x/s.

What are the Odds of winning?

Lol.. yeah that's probably it. I play on low volume, very low volume. Only time I'll crank up the sound is for FFXIII-2 cause the music is nice and relaxing.
