    Volume issue

I think the Volume levels come down to who is providing the streaming file. Most of these feeds come from shows on various networks, so one might record differently than another.

Hi, let's try a few steps from here

    https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/oneguide-live-tv/poor-audio-or-sound-quality

If this doesn't work try the other 2 steps

Solution 1: Check the audio settings on your Xbox One

Using the correct audio settings for your home theater on the Xbox One ensures you have the best audio performance possible.

    1. Press the Xbox button
 to open the guide, then select System > Settings > General > Volume & audio output.
    2. Under Speaker audio, select either
HDMI audio or Optical audio, depending on how your device is connected.
    3. Choose the correct audio format for your home theater, either
      5.1 uncompressed, 7.1 uncompressed, or
      Bitstream out
. If you're not sure, select Stereo uncompressed.

    Solution 2: Check your cables

Audio signal may not be reaching your Xbox One correctly if the cable is damaged or not properly connected to your devices.

    • Double-check your HDMI or optical audio cables to be sure that they are securely connected and free of breaks or damage.
    • Try replacing the cables. Some cables are better than others, and a low-quality cable can impact your video.

Solution 3 has some pictures of a properly set up Xbox

@hotpipes I use the XP 500's for my Xbox One,I too experienced this same problem,I sent a tweet out on Twitter about this issue, and there were several replies back that other users of our headsets had same problem. Also, ghostatic that suggestion you posted
does not work. I've tried it, and several of friends who use the 510's tried it, and it still does not work. :(
