Volume decrease on right Dpad press

Hello, thank you for such a fast answer. I did a reset with keeping content, but while searching for a fix ive noticed something weird. When i was standing infront of the xbox, the dpad press stopped. I guess it was just one of the other gadgets sending this signal. So by placing a small cover infront of xbox i managed to fix it. We live in a weird time, huh

Hello Yo_Mom, I see that you've tried some procedures on your console, however the reset you did was to erase the console completely or the one that keeps the games and Apps.

You've also tried updating the firmware of your accessories if you have a PC try doing so through the Xbox Accessories App.

You should check the levels of your microphone from the console.

1. With your headset attached, press the glowing “Xbox” button
2. Navigate to the “System” tab
3. Select “Audio”
4. Adjust the “Mic monitoring” option
5. Slide the bar left to decrease the microphone volume level
6. Slide the bar right to increase the microphone volume level

however just a couple of things to check.

The hdmi lead is in the output hdmi port on the xbox and not the input ? trust me this is easily done

Try this blind guide into the settings that I usually give to people who have changed the output resolution but I can't guarantee it will work for you.

Power the xbox on and the controller on but DO NOT touch any buttons or the dpad or thumbsticks.

Using the dpad only make the following movements and button presses

press the menu button on the controller

down twice on the dpad

press A

right three times on the dpad

down once on the dpad

press A

press A

down once on the dpad

press A

Hi, reading your question I think the obvious answer is to turn display dicovery back on. I'm also guessing that now as you cannot see what you're doing you cannot turn it back on. You will need to turn it back on blindly by doing the following.

-

power the console on using the guide button on a controller and wait for a minute

press up on the dpad

press right on the dpad 6 times

press down on the dpad 1 time

press A 3 times

press down on the dpad 4 times

press A twice to enable display discovery again and save the setting
