Voice still is heard in game when in party chat

Hey I have this issue to where every time i get in a party chat with my friend who is on xbox people in game game still hear me and i can still hear them but yet my friend in the party can hear me and i can hear him to does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Game/Party chat fail

Not 100% sure if it's Halo or the Xbox it's self, but while playing Halo we have had many issues with losing voice communications during game and in the menu.

Attempted fixes:

-Starting a party:

After getting party chat set up it shows a gray circle next to our names. No voice is heard.

-Disbanding/restarting in game party:

No voice is heard.

-Quitting the game on the dashboard:

fixes in game, but party still displays gray circle and no voice is heard. (in party)

test, goes into microphone properties, advanced and switches the channel to: channel 2, 16 bit, 4800 hz (qualy dvd)

That is most likely because the cross system play is still in Beta. There is nothing you can do right now. In game chat for most games is not streamed because of privacy reasons.

If it was party chat via live you can opt in to allow your voice to be heard.

HI their,

The Twitch App for Xbox has a new feature: you now have the ability to broadcast your Party Chat.

To use this, enable the “Broadcast party chat” option in the
Twitch app settings on Xbox.

Everyone in your party will have the option to allow/enable their voice to be heard by your broadcast/stream. Should they decline (DISABLE) , you’ll still be able to chat with them in your party, but they will not be heard
on the Stream/broadcast.
