Voice not broadcasting

My elite series 2 controller doesn't broadcast my voice to party chats or game chats and i know my microphone works just fine because it will work perfectly on my other controller. I just want to know what is causing this or if there is a fix because it just happened for no reason at all. I have had this same issue with my last elite series 2 controller about 2 months into using it, i traded that one in for a new one and im about 3 months into using this one and having the same issue. Why is this happening?

Thanks for reaching out to the Xbox forums! I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with getting your mic to work with your Elite Controller 2.

Out of curiosity, what headset are you using? Does the headset utilize an adapter of some kind? If the headset has an adapter that plugs into the controller, try plugging the headset directly into the controller and not use the adapter.

Additionally, have you made sure that the controller firmware is up to date? You can update a controller wirelessly, through USB, or on your computer using the Xbox Accessories app. Please check out the link below on how to update your controller firmware.

Yes, this is true. When broadcasting, your voice goes over the broadcast and in-game or party. You would have to be in an invite-only party by yourself to avoid having others hear your broadcast banter.

Hey, man! I tried this already. Only my voice makes it to the stream but my party members' voices don't.

to change your twitch broadcast settings.

go into the Twitch app on your Xbox One.

Click on the broadcast tap.

that will show you your broadcast settings.

Yes, this is true. If you are broadcasting, your voice goes over the broadcast and into party or game chat. You would need to be in a party by yourself so that no one else would hear your talking that you want in the broadcast.

We have had the twitch viewing app since launch. Just the broadcasting is not yet enabled. XBOX broadcast voice command works now on beta test
