    Hi,

    When my son tries to play on his Xbox, he is unable to talk to anyone in the "Xbox party chat" after they’ve started a group.

    It also doesn’t work to talk via Fortnite, which he plays very often. Why is this happening?

    Looking for young players to play with for my son

    Hi, This is the family account. My son who is 7 plays Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. I allow him to play but without voice chat, too risky for kids these days. I'll let him listen to other children but not get on voice chat himself, if I hear kids talking
    bad I just tell him to mute everyone.

    Feel free to add this gamertag, I do monitor my children playing though.

    Yes, I would buy it for the voice and gesture commands. I have the current Kinect and my wife and I, and particularly my children, use it enough the justify the purchase but I wish there were more games for it.

    I have had my voice communication settings set to "friends only" for several years. I highly recommend doing that if you have children. No reason at all they need to hear what others are saying.

    And you know the funny part? Microsoft INSISTS on making it a bannable offense to swear in voice comms "because children play on XBL", when it is in fact the children doing the most swearing.

    Irony has never stared me in the face so hard until now.
