    Voice feedback and chat not working?


    I just plugged in 3 different headsets, all of which have voice feedback (hearing your voice) and I can't get it to work. Also, I joined a party to test it, and no one can hear me, yet I can hear game and chat audio pefectly fine.

    I thought maybe it was my Turtle Beach Adapter, but i tested it with a standard Xbox adapter and just plugging the mics directly into the 3.5 jack and both yielded the same result as before. I also tested it with 2 different Elite controllers and a regular one and nothing.

    I find it hard to believe that every combination of accessories I own just all stopped working at once. Anyone else having this Issue? I'm in Alpha build.

    Voice feedback on chat

    Mic monitoring only let's you hear your voice through the headset. Do you perhaps have your voice to come through the tv as well? If not have you tried a different controller or headset?

    If they sent you a voice message or said something via in game voice it would be Text and Voice Communications > Voice Message / Voice Chat etc.

    Mine does the same thing. I have tried everything to fix this. I even went out and bought a turtle beach headset to see if that would work.

    Hey Asurics,

    It appears that the account you're posting is a Xbox Live Silver account, which would limit Xbox Live party chat. I would ensure that you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription to be able to use party chat, or ensure that your Xbox One Home console is set by
    an account that has Xbox Live Gold.

    voice chat not working

    Happened to me today. I restarted my Xbox with the controller and the mic already attached and it worked. I have no idea if this is a fix. Starting without the mic attached to the controller defaulted to the Kinect for all chat.
