    Voice controls everything EXCEPT changing channels


    This has only been a recent problem. Voice commands such as, "xbox volume up/down" "xbox On/off" all work fine. However, when I want to change the channel, it recognizes the command on pops up in the upper right but it will not change. There has been
    a few times that it with think I said something soooo far off than what I actually said..

    I tried a hard reset on the xbox acouple times, and on the STB ( Verizon Fios Motorola box). I tried resetting up the whole TV thing, but the command it sends to turn off/on the xbox does not work. Again, as I mentioned this is only recent, it used
    to work fine. Any ideas please?

    XB1 not changing channels on DirecTV

    I'm having the exact same issue, but with a DISH Network VIP722k box. Everything works fine except the watch channel voice command. It displays on the xbox that the channel has changed if i use snap, but the actual channel does not change.

    i dont want to be rude or rash here but if im already using oneguide obviosuly i have already set it up. ive done your steps a thousand times BEFORE posting this. im not incompetant, if it was a simple fix i wouldve fixed it already. all the channels show
    up in the one guide. EVERYTHING SHOWS AND WORKS CORRECT. EXCEPT you CANNOT change channels with your VOICE or with the xbox one controller. only the Remote that came with the digital convertor box works.

    I have it working but with the main DVR box (not the smaller boxes). It changes channels ok from the One Guide, controller or using voice.
