Hello, I have a problem following my account xbox live.

I was banned from speech communication until April 22, 2017.

I wanted to know if it was possible to no longer have this ban or reduce the penalty

Voice communications

I'm getting sick of xbox live becoming dictators. For over a year now every game I play with multiplayer have just gone quiet. at fist i thought maybe its just certain games, but for awhole year and several games! People don't chat in game anymore outof
fear of being reported by the first 'wonderful cheery person' they chat to that might report them for voice communication. I remember that I told a player once basically he sucked and he's underhanded, but in more colourful detail. ONCE and I got suspended.

People just don't talk anymore out of fear for that. People either stick to parties or they just don't talk anymore. Congratulations xbox live you've taken care of the people who swear like sailors, but I the process also made to afraid to chat online
anymore.

I gotten banned for saying to an player shrukengolf210 I don't care about him hating me and that hate is a strong word and that I'm cool with him hating me with a emoji to get banned a minute later

You can view your ban by logging in at enforcement.xbox.com and from there file a case review if the ban is eligible for one.

Depends on the game.Some games are quiet.A lot of people just stick to party chat because they don't want to hear little kids screaming down their mics etc.

Even if someone does get reported they will only be suspended if they have done something to violate the ToU/CoC.

you must be rated e for everyone regardless of console or services and yes its a universal code of conduct

Sometimes our reactions are what we get punished for more than the person committing the initial crime.

If someones being aggressive or rude in chat, report and block them. Then its out of your hands and in enforcement's hands to decide whether or not a ban is needed.
