Voice chat - COD Ghosts

I was wondering, can you use your kinect for voice chat? or do you need the headset?

I don't always feel like wearing the headset but I can't seem to get it working

cant use kinect for chat in COD

Ghosts doesn't support Kinect Voice chat in game while playing mulitplayer. But you can however use it in Party Chat.

XBOX ONE Kinect chat not working in Ghosts

I have Kinect setup and working for voice commands but it won't work for chat in CoD Ghosts.

When I plug in the mono headset, the chat icon appears.

With connect it doesn't show up and nobody can hear me.

Is there something I can adjust?

Hello

Yes you can use your kinect for voice chat

Go to settings>kinect then check if the use for game/voice chat is check marked if not check mark it then use it for game chat knowing how COD has many players in game chat

Do you guys check before you answer? Cause you just lied to them.The Kinect does not work for COD voice chat.

RanDog is correct- However, I don't believe anyone "Lied"- it was an error to assume Kinect voice chat would work. CoD does no,t at this time, support voice chat with Kinect.

if u cant speak in voice chat, there are a few reasons why:

1. your cod account has been voice banned meaning you can't speak until it's over;

2. your headset isn't plugged in correctly

3. you are in an xbox party (leave it so you can speak on cod voice chat because it doesn't let you speak on both channels)

4. your voice chat mode is set to "push to talk" instead of open mic
