Discus and support Voice Chat and Streaming in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So ive recently noticed that when i stream it doesnt pick up game chat or party chat.     Voice Chat and Streaming


    So ive recently noticed that when i stream it doesnt pick up game chat or party chat. I cant figure out how to get around this issue. Ive tried googling it but still cant seem to figure it out. The device I currently use is Elagato HD60s+ and I use Streamlabs
    OBS for Windows. I do have a wired headset for my controller that I use so im not sure if thats a reason why.

    Recording Game Chat

    As far as I'm aware the only way to record your voice chat (and optionally your parties chat) is by streaming straight to mixer and setting it to record the whole stream

    In game chat for twitch

    The problem isn't with the stream itself, everyone can hear the streamers voice but if I'm playing call of duty my in game party chat isn't broadcasted on the stream, Xbox users have togo in an Xbox party chat and as I have mentioned not everyone uses Xbox, so if I play with a PC or PS player their voices won't be heard in stream, again the problem is that Xbox has to much restrictions on the streaming side of things not allowing in game chat to be broadcasted.

    Hi there, my name is Gerardo and I'm an Xbox player like you.

    Unfortunately, there is a design limitation when streaming via Twitch on an Xbox console. It's not possible to have the voices of other players in the in-game chat heard in the stream. You can only transmit the voices of others if they are in the same Xbox party chat and if they have allowed their voices to be heard in the stream.

    Game chat audio not included in recordings

    Xbox clips don't record voice/game chat currently. You can record the voice on a different device and then add it to your gameplay, or stream the content trough twitch. You can also use a capture card.

    But if you don't have any equipment, only the Xbox recording feature will not record the game chat/party voice.

    you had to switch on to stream you game chat. if your in party chat, all participants can decide on their own if to include their voice chat
