    For those planning to play Dirt 3 backward comp

    VIP Pass

    VIP Pass is free right now which gives access to multiplayer...back then you had to pay for it so snatch it quick for free if you plan on seeing if multiplayer works for this game

    VIP Pass issues

    I didn't on PC, then loaded up on Xbox One and they worked there. Wondering if VIP stuff did not install on PC...

    After chatting with xbox support, I'm told the content will show up on the official release date... kind of odd but ok.

    So if you bought the retail Ultimate Edition, you can play early but without the benefits of the ultimate edition content? Unless the VIP bonuses will be applied retroactively, that's not really acceptable.

    there is no update option because you need to download the vip pass

    the VIP pass is free and is a separate download
